A lineup of 22 movies has been selected to compete in the Iran section of the 36th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.
This year’s festival has three main sections, of which 22 films will compete in the Iranian section.
Also in the documentary section, the selection committee will chose 10 works out of the 35 qualified docs; and in the next stage, two documentaries are to have public screenings.
Since its establishment, the Fajr Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.
Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.
The 36th edition of the Fajr Film Festival is slated for February 1-11, 2018, in Tehran.
